Chanticleer Crime-Free Multi-Housing Property Certification

Security upgrades were made to the building and there is annual consultation with our groundskeeper.

The goal of the Crime Free Multi-Housing Program is to introduce crime prevention techniques to multi-housing properties as to reduce the likelihood of criminal activity occurring on the premises. The Crime Free Multi-Housing program adheres to the principles detailed in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design.

On September 9, 2017 the Chanticleer completed step 3 in the Crime Free Multi-Housing Program when we hosted a community social to receive our certification and provide information to owners and residents about the program and Apartment Safety.

Going forward in this partnership with the Edmonton Police Service we have had annual inspections to ensure we are in compliance with the program guidelines, and social/information events, and our manager and president have attended certification update workshops.
