Updates from the July 20, 2015 Board Meeting

Greetings from the Board,

Many thanks to those who have responded positively to the notice and cleaned up their parking stalls. Your co-operation is truly appreciated.

As for the oil leaks, please refer to Bylaws 3.4 and 4.1.6. Cardboard and oil are flammable. Owners are responsible to keep their vehicles in good repair and clean up and leaks.

Continuing the theme of being a good neighbour, a request to those who live above the ground floor to remember you have neighbours below who may be adversely affected by your balcony clean-up efforts. Please refrain from sweeping over the sides of the balcony and use a mop or rags and bucket for wet cleaning. Waste water should be disposed of via the toilet or brought down to the grass, not allowed to run down into the balconies below. Courtesy and common sense.

Parkade Membrane Replacement

This long anticipated major project will be getting under way soon. Currently expected to start near the beginning of August. Further updates will be forthcoming but in the meantime please be advised of the following:

  • This project will go well into the Fall before completion.
  • Access to the courtyard and back gate will be maintained for emergency use only. You will still be able to access the lane and garbage bins through the parkade exit and stairs. That area will not be affected by construction.
  • The work on the ground level patios is not projected to be done until next Spring; however, these areas should be cleared during construction to avoid damage to your personal property. Anything left on the patios will be at your own risk.
  • Construction noise: expect disturbances at any time between 8 am and 7 pm weekdays and possibly between 9 am and 4 pm Saturdays. This will not be continuous and some stages will be noisier than others.

AGM : August 20 at 7 pm

Note: AGM Packages will be delivered electronically to owners who have provided email addresses. Please let us know if you have not received yours by August 10.
