THERE ARE QUITE A FEW PARKING STALLS BEING USED FOR STORING THINGS.
The only thing allowed in the parking stalls is your motor vehicle. Anything else must be stored in your locker or suite.
OIL LEAKS: SOME STALLS HAVE CARDBOARD ON THE GROUND CATCHING OIL DRIPS FROM THEIR VEHICLES:
This is against the Bylaws and poses a fire risk.
THE OIL LEAKS MUST BE FIXED IMMEDIATLEY AND THE CARDBOARD REMOVED FROM THE STALLS.
PLANT RESCUE
Since work in the courtyard will be starting in the next couple of weeks, details to follow when available, anyone who has an interest in rescuing any remaining plants from the courtyard beds is asked to do so fairly soon. The planned work does not affect the front of the building areas at this time.
We can use sound judgement though, and agree that the cardboard underneath the cars to catch oil drops is not a fire hazard. Forcing repairs to vehicles can be costly, cardboard on the concrete is okay.
In response to this comment, please refer to Bylaws 3.4 and 4.1.6. Cardboard is flammable. Oil is flammable. Neither should be under a vehicle in the parkade. It is an owner’s responsibility to keep their vehicle in good repair and to clean up any fluid leaks.
